Work With Me
There isn't one intervention that every body needs.
But there is a process for learning to understand yours.
The Grove
A 24-Week Container for Understanding Your Body, Rebuilding Capacity, & Learning to Trust It Again
The Grove is a 24-week small-group container for people dealing with persistent pain or other physical symptoms who are tired of feeling like their body is the problem.
We look beyond the symptom itself to understand the patterns influencing how your body feels and responds—physically, mentally, emotionally, and through your nervous system.
The goal isn't another treatment or protocol to depend on. It's to help you understand your body, change how you respond to it, rebuild capacity, and become more confident leading yourself forward.
Not passive treatment. Not another protocol to follow perfectly. Not another exercise list or rehab program. Focused on understanding, participation, capacity & long-term self-trust.
The Grove may be a fit if…
you’re living with persistent physical symptoms—most commonly chronic pain—and have put significant effort into feeling better but still don't understand why the same symptoms and patterns keep returning. You’re open to looking beyond the purely physical and ready to participate in the process rather than hand your body over to another practitioner to fix. Over 24 weeks, you learn to understand your body's signals, recognize the patterns driving your symptoms, and respond differently so you can participate more fully in your life and become the authority of your own body.
What We Work Towards Inside The Grove
By the end of The Grove, the goal is for you to:
Better understand what your body is communicating and what influences your symptoms
Recognize the patterns that keep you stuck in cycles of pushing, avoiding, reacting, or searching for the next fix
Respond to your body with more intention instead of fear or frustration
Rebuild your mental, emotional, and physical capacity
Feel more confident experimenting, adjusting, and making decisions for yourself
Trust your body—and yourself—without needing constant reassurance or ongoing care
This isn’t about never having another symptom. It’s about knowing what to do when something comes up without immediately feeling like you’re back at square one.
The process isn’t perfectly linear. You may move forward, revisit an old pattern, learn something new, and move through parts of the process again.
But over the 24 weeks, the work follows five main shifts.
How The Work Unfolds
REFRAME — Understand what’s actually happening.
Begin looking beyond “something is wrong with my body” and develop a different understanding of pain, symptoms, the nervous system, and the patterns influencing your experience.
RECOGNIZE — See your patterns.
Learn to notice how you respond to your body, stress, discomfort, emotions, expectations, and the demands of your life—and where those patterns may be keeping you stuck.
RESPOND — Change your relationship with what you notice.
Instead of automatically pushing through, avoiding, reacting, fixing, or outsourcing to a practitioner, learn to pause, interpret what your body is telling you, and choose your response.
REBUILD — Expand your capacity.
Gradually build your ability to handle more physically, mentally, and emotionally through movement, nervous system work, experimentation, and real-life practice.
TRUST — Learn to lead yourself.
Use the evidence you’ve built throughout the process to make decisions, adapt when something changes, ask for help when you actually need it, and trust yourself to move forward.

The community dynamic is intentional.
I understand that at first it may feel a little strange or scary to talk about your long-standing pain and health struggles with a group. We never want to feel like we are complaining, we want to be grateful, and we know someone else could have it worse than us. True and…
What I’ve come to realize from working with people in chronic pain is that because of those beliefs, there is almost always a feeling of being alone, an unintentional self-isolation, and a frustration with not being understood — feeling like “nobody gets it.” I’ve heard it from every client I’ve worked closely with in the chronic pain space.
After launching my first private container for learning the process outlined on this page, the desire to have community support became so strong among the individuals that we ended up adding a group component. The participants started alone, but ended up sharing a deep connection to the others in the cohort — so strong that some of their biggest individual shifts happened after group discussions.
Feeling like something “cracked open inside”
The feeling of being able to receive “peace and know it’s an okay place to be”
Feeling of deep “insights and growth from the container”
The sharing, reflections, insights, and shifts that occurred because of the community became the backbone of actually doing the work. That is why The Grove exists.
Not only do you have my expert eye in The Grove ongoing community support, but you also get to see yourself in the mirror of every other participant. For this reason, the group will remain an intimate number, so you not only feel supported, but also feel safe to fully express yourself to move through your process more effectively.
The Clearing
The Grove is a complete container on its own.
For those who would benefit from more individualized work, The Clearing is an optional private depth track available to 3 Grove members per cohort.
The Clearing includes:
Six 2-hour private sessions during the 24 weeks
Sessions shaped around what is emerging in your individual process
48 hours of private text support following each session
Individualized physical, nervous system, movement and/or coaching support
Private sessions may be held in-person or virtually and may include brainspotting, physical examination, manual therapy, dry needling, individualized rehabilitation and movement, coaching, and other appropriate physical therapy interventions based on individual needs. Hands-on physical therapy interventions require an in-person session.
Do I need The Grove or The Grove + The Clearing?
You don't need to figure that out yourself. That's part of the Alignment Call.
